After working in a doggy daycare, Sierra wanted to create a place where city dogs could reconnect with nature. With the support of her loyal customers and her furry best friend Tyke, the pack was formed.

After just one hike, dogs who were anxious and overstimulated in daycare were happily wagging their tails in the great outdoors. Rowdy dogs who often played too rough suddenly had structure and were able to focus on their training while getting exercise. Hike With Tyke became a place parents could proudly send their fur babies knowing they were receiving the best care.

A year later, her mother Donna joined the team as an avid hiker and animal lover. Now, HWT has over 20 weekly happy hikers.
